Though I've mostly gone by my initials JD for years, my name is Justin Moores and despite lifelong health problems stemming from the inherited Larsen's Syndrome, I'm a published and award winning writer, screenwriter, and artist. After failed attempts at filmmaking in my twenties, I spent years in a sort of limbo while coming to grips with my increasing physical limitations. Then, around 2020, I discovered the open source software Blender and have spent the last few years learning about virtual production. Even as the learning process continues, I now feel like I have the personal maturity and access to enough good technology to start again and pursue at least a version of my original goals.
